Conditions / Materials to carry out the lessons
-> The school Special Surf 78 provides all the material for the realization of surf lessons ( wetsuit, surfboard , surfpadling board, life jackets).
-> If necessary the wetsuits present necessary changes to disability cases in which it is more difficult to wear the suit.
-> We also have vests that facilitate the fluctuation of our students and consequently reduce the risk of accidents.
-> Surfboards in use are called softboards, which are made of soft material , special for the initial levels of the modality approach. Surfpaddling also is used to abilitate the performance of more complex exercises in which the priority is to put the students standing on the board , regardless of their limitations.
-> When appropriate, the classes will be held in accessible beach areas , with tirálô and its support area .
-> Normally the classes are given when there is enough ripple, but when there are no waves the classes are conducted with a basic level of learning focusing on the adaptation of students to the board and wetsuit and to their handlings in contact with the sea always in game context or analytical exercise.
-> The Specialsurf 78 shows a dynamic mobility, going to any other beaches , including the Cascais line beaches and Costa da Caparica , (which also have good conditions for the start of practice mode) or anywhere requested by any institution , school or group.
